As a Quality Assurance (QA) Officer in Emmen, you will be responsible for enhancing our processes and product quality through standardization and innovation. You will elevate the quality policy to a higher level and involve stakeholders in its execution. Do you want to up your knowledge and experience to improve the quality of our products and processes? Join our QHSE team in Emmen as a Senior Quality Assurance Officer:

• Lead the development of local quality policies, including evaluating standards and customer requirements for tactical and operational plans.
• Manage the (QHSE) management system and promote collaboration with colleagues.
• Organize and conduct internal and external audits, managing improvements from raw materials to end products, and continuously improving processes and quality awareness among colleagues.

Role and department

You will join the QHSE team in Emmen, consisting of 9 QHSE professionals who hold a central position within Teijin Aramid Emmen. They play a leading role and support the organization in QHSE matters. The department closely collaborates with the production and maintenance organization on-site, as well as with QHSE colleagues at other locations in Arnhem and Delfzijl.

Your profile

For this position, you should have a completed HBO or WO education, such as quality management or a degree in chemical engineering with demonstrable experience in quality management. You have extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in the chemical industry. Additionally, you should possess the following skills:

• Strong process-oriented thinking and the ability to work accurately and systematically. • Sensitivity to context and interests, and the ability to understand change management.
• Knowledge of quality standards, including ISO standards (such as ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001), and experience with statistics is a plus.
• Team player with the ability to connect with other professionals within the company.
• Intrinsic drive to improve quality, safety, health, and the environment, with the ability to identify, prioritize threats and opportunities, and create support for improvements.
• Extensive experience in project-based work and excellent oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
